One dead after hit by CRPF vehicle in Srinagar

One youth died after a bike was hit by a CRPF vehicle at Baghat Chowk area of central Kashmir Srinagar district on Saturday afternoon.

The two wheeler bearing the registration number JK01 AM 4913 was hit by a CRPF vehicle near Chinar chowk in Srinagar after which locals rushed to the spot to help the injured rider.

The injured, however, succumbed on the spot.

As per locals, the deceased civilian was identified as Manzoor Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Ahmad Wani, resident of Budgam

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
